Strong storms moved through last night!

We survived the storm but our fence did not. The wind was terrible last night and my car got hail damage again! Well I thank the good Lord we are safe and sound!

UFO

Have you ever seen a UFO? If so I would love to hear your story. I am researching ufo's and would like any input you can give me on them. I know in the bible it reads
Jeremiah 10:2Thus saith the LORD, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them.
Matthew 24:24For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

Luke 21:11And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.
Luke 21:25And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;
So are ufo's the works of the antichrist? What are your thoughts?

MONDAY Monday

Good morning everyone in blogland! Well I hope you had a wonderful weekend, it's a great big 14 degrees here with lots of sunshine. We got to go out this weekend to some thrift stores and guess what we found. An incubator for our home school! We got a great deal on a $380.00 incubator for around $25.00! We tested it and it even appears to be new! You can't hardly beat shopping at thrift stores that's for sure, unless its free. Our goal is to get some eggs from some type of exotic birds which we will probably have to buy online.

Update

Hello again! Well this month is already half gone. I have to make a trip to the Dentist today, one of the boys has a tooth they need pulled. It has snowed about a 1/4 inch so I don't think the roads will be too bad, unless it starts snowing while we are there. I have the wood stoves going strong and it is nice and cozy in here. I have to get busy on my housework and getting all these kids ready to go to the dentist. Also on the weight loss goal for the new year I have lost 4 pounds so far, it is hard but I must do it! Anyone else have weight loss as a goal this year? Well hope you all have a great day, gotta go for now.

Storms moving through

Good afternoon, hopefully everyone is safe and sound with all the tornado weather out there! This week in our homeschooling lessons we are moving on to Exodus, having completed the entire book of Genesis. There are many lessons you can learn from the book of Genesis. I encourage you to begin a unit study on the whole book of Genesis if you are looking for Bible stories that really make a lasting impression and a foundation to build upon. Bible readings make the best History lessons available. Why not start today!

A Day of Rest

Finally a day of rest, but there is still so much to do you say. I know same here but rest will help for the week ahead. If you think about it, Sunday is really the first day of the week looking at a calendar so what would be the 7th day. Saturday, yes that right! Now let's look at the scriptures in Exodus chapter 20 verses 8-11.
8Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
9Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:
10But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:
11For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

Take a day off and get that much needed rest!

Time

Don't forget your time here is short. Use it wisely. Live each day as it were your last, who knows it may be. What really matters? Just some points to ponder.
