Broken Finger

I know it's been a while since my last post but this time I have a good reason.  I took a tumble down the steps at my son's house one rainy day and apparently broke my finger.  It has been over a week and I have been trying to keep my finger in a splint which eases my pain.  I have done exercises with it and I am still having quite a bit of pain if I don't wear my splint.  So here is to a speedy recovery and hoping that my finger will heal quickly and all the swelling will go down so I can get on with my life.  Keep me in your prayers!

It has been two years ago yesterday that I lost my sister to the battle with cancer.  Seems like the days just go by so fast.  I don't know how it could have been two years already.  She believed in Jesus so I know she has nothing to worry about now and I am so glad none of us has to see her suffer anymore.  She was a great sister that I will never forget.  I love and miss you Angie!

Ben has been taking Violin lessons and is learning how to play twinkle twinkle little star for his first song.  He has done a great job so far and Harrison continues to play the Guitar while Addie is thinking about playing the piano.  They grow up so fast.

It is storming here tonight and we are finally getting that much needed rain we needed all summer.  It has been getting cold enough to fire up the wood stoves at night already.  Looks like we are in for a cold winter. Our wood supply is ready though so bring on the snow :)

When it rains it pours!

Well I made it to the bank to fill out the affidavit against the crooks mopet that put fraudulent charge on my bank card (that took more money than I even had in the bank account). Who knows when I will get that money back. The bank is going to try though. I got a call from my sister today that had been declared cancer free to find out they found another mass. My oldest son got his electric turned off and is living at his house in the dark. He really doesn't mind because he is wanting to live like without the modern day conveniences. Praise God anyway! Pray for my sister. Have a great day.

Pay Day

Pay day again! Paid my tithes, and car payment, and will take care of the other bills later, gotta run and get ready for work, my time is very limited! Keep my sister Angela in your prayers!!!! Take care, more later,

3 days off in a row!

I finally got a few days off, thank the Good Lord Above!!! It was much needed. I got to go and visit my sister and see my mom before she heads back to Virginia. We had a picnic and enjoyed our time together! Now its back to cleaning out the school room to get ready for another year of school! Hello everyone, well I have just about finished reading my book, I am on chapter 23 and it has been such a blessing, again if you have not read this book Created to be his Help Meet I encourage you to do so.
On another note my sister Angela has been in the hospital and I am asking for your prayers for her.

Well we took a small trip to see my sister Angela yesterday and had a great time. She moved to a new house and it is beautiful! We had cheese ball,crackers,peppermint sticks,coffee and yahoo. We took pictures, but I am still not able to upload last time I tried. I don't know about where you live but the fall colors here are absolutely beautiful! I love this time of the year!
