My Favorite bank closing National City

We have two branches of National City Bank in Town and today we get a letter in the mail saying my favorite one is closing. All our information will be transferred to the other bank on the square. How sad. This bank has been open for as long as I can remember. Hard times have it this little town and I am sure there is more to come. More people loosing their jobs that never thought they would. Times are Tough Local Hospital Files Bankruptcy

You know times are tough when you read the front page news stating that your local Hospital has filed for Bankruptcy. You keep hearing more and more about how bad things are and how most everyone is broke. People are loosing their jobs and it is not getting better. It was really sad to read that there will be no more babies delivered at the local hospital after having 6 there myself. It was a really nice birthing center and the only one in town. This little town is going broke along with the rest. Times are tough and I am sure that there will be more to write about soon. I will keep you updated.

Thank God For Thursdays

I woke up this morning thinking it was Friday. Knowing I had to go back to work on Friday I was not a happy camper. So I sit down in my chair and started reading my emails. One of them had the title Thursday on it. What? Had I lost a day. Possible I guess. So I click down on my calendar and sure enough. It's thursday! Thank God for Thursdays! I don't have to go out to work today!
We had some more new baby chickens today. They are brown and fluffy and adorable. We worked on the chicken cage and got most of it done. The weather is just wonderful here. It seems like fall has arrived. Makes it nice when your in the garden pulling weeds! Well I am going to go enjoy my Thursday and you do the same!

Little Lost Bird

I walked outside the door to find this little bird that had fallen by my house. It was making all kinds of noises but I didn't see the mother bird anywhere. We got some worms and smashed them up and fed it to the little bird and it was very thankful.
