Under State of Emergency
We are officially iced in, yes the ice storm hit and now our county is under a State of Emergency. I wonder if leaving for vacation would be counted as an emergency? I need a vacation, and it is an emergency! Well a few more days wont hurt I guess. Gives me more time to pack.

Vacation in the Winter
I don't know about you but I am ready for a summer vacation, or should I say Winter vacation! This cold snow is about to freeze me out and we just started winter time. Either let me be a bear and hibernate or take me to the mountains so I can enjoy the beauty that would surround me or take me south like the geese so I can feel the sunshine beating down on me.

Camping Trip
We finally made it to the yearly camping trip. We took the dogs and the horse this year. We found a patch of blackberries and stained our hands purple while we were there. One amazing thing it didn't rain! We did not get to go caving this year because Cave river valley is still closed, we used to have so much fun there. They still have the sign on the gate that says they were planning on opening in March but that never happened. Maybe next year.

I remember when I was younger and dad took our family out to
Missouri. My mom had to go visit the Laura Ingalls Wilder Museum. We always watched Little House On the Prairie so that was one stop along our vacation we had to go see. I would like visit Missouri again and stay at the Hilton Hotel, visit nearby shops, enjoy the attractions including museums and relax in the hot tub. This time I'll take my family! Vacations Over
It was nice to have 5 days off in a row and it will probably be another six months before I get that again. Our trip to the Langfords in Tennesse was alot of fun. The kids had a blast and learned a new game while we were there. If you have never played pit you should try it. I recommend 4-7 players because that was alot more fun. I have to get ready for work so this will be short, hope you all have a great day!
