Up and at em!
One of the famous words you here in the morning around here "Up and at em". That's not a word some of you may say but that all just depends on where you live in the country. Some of us country folks use that word quite often. Any way I had a spur of the moment yard sale again, made a few extra bucks. Let the kids earn some too since they helped set up the tables and drag all my yard sale items out again. At least it didn't rain. Praise God. I got to go see Joyce Meyer out of the blue my neighbor asked if I wanted to go with her and I had always wanted to go see her teach the younger women as you may say. I was so blessed to get to go and even though we sit so far back you could hardly see her you could still hear the bible verses and teaching and that's what it's all about. I sold a lot on eBay last week so I have that package ready to be picked up by the mail lady. Everyone is up and at em except the two little ones who will be waking soon and ready to get their school work done. That's it for updates as of today!

Updates from the country
Since I wrote last we have had two yard sales. I experimented with different advertising routes and I do believe I need to just rent a building in town and get rid of it all! We did ok but still have lots to sell. We have one garden planted and hoping for no more freezing temps. Lots more seeds to plant but I will be keeping some for my emergency bag too! School is almost done for the year and we are enjoying the thought of summer break! We ended up selling our horse and thinking about buying a cow or goat. One of my boys are buying a piece of property and the waiting process is way to long when you are waiting on the closing date. I know it will be here before we know it but we are excited for him to have his own place. Well enough for now I have to go hang out a load of laundry and get the kids going on their homework. Have a great day out there in blogland!

Spring is in the Air
What a beautiful day to wake up to. The birds are chirping and the warm heat from the sun is bringing spring into blossom. The garden spot is cleaned up and now we are waiting on the tiller motor to arrive so we can till the ground. Trigger made it back for the summer, (our horse). We got 2 new additions of hampsters to watch exercise. Let me tell you what I never knew they could run so much but that wheel could run all night long. This could be a science project, maybe we could generate some electricity off that :) Instead of a windmill a hampster mill. Anyway just an update with a thought that the mushrooms have to be getting close.

Surfing the net through War Driving
Well you would probably never guess but right now I am sitting at McDonalds surfing the internet. Yes it's a new thing that you can do if you don't have the internet and need to check your mail. Or maybe you just want to save money for the month you would be paying for service and you can get these connections different places in your town. Take a night out and give it a try. See how many free internet connections are available in your area.

Recap of 2011
It's the end of the year and Christmas is over again. We got some snow but it melted by the end of the day so I am still waiting on that blizzard to hit. With the new year getting ready to ring in we can all hope for a year of putting God first instead of ourselves. We had a rough year in 2011. It is a wonder I survived but I did. Here's to 2012 and getting ready to be self sufficient with the grace of God upon us.
