November Updates

It's a cool crisp morning here in southern Indiana this morning.  You can always tell when the wood stove is almost empty that's for sure.  Nothing a little hot coffee can't fix though. We have three doctor appointments today so I will be glad when this day is over.  The kid's have to get their annual check up and then we will be good till next year.  We brought the birds in from the garage so now it sounds like we are living in the jungle. It is just too cold out there since he doesn't keep the stoves in the garage going all winter.  A couple of the Cockatiels are setting on some eggs so it wont be long and we will be having baby cockatiels again.  I will try to upload some new pictures of the new birds when they arrive. New Love Bird

Tony our love bird now has a new friend! Meet Yellow bird, our latest addition to the love bird family. At first I was beginning to wonder if they were gona get along but they finally broke the ice and are friends at last.

Birds of a Feather

Birds of a Feather Flock together, as the old saying goes! Surround yourself with good happy people and you will be happy. People that like to gripe all the time only bring you down. Smile, be happy, let your happiness rub off and be blessed to know that you are a child of God! His chosen.
Speaking of birds I got some new birds that I will try to post photos of soon, gotta work today so it will not be today, they are so cute!!! I plan on doing a unit study on the different types of birds we have with the kids. It should be fun! They have been watching videos about birds and really enjoy them. One of them will fly and sit right on top of your head! Too cute!

MONDAY Monday

Good morning everyone in blogland! Well I hope you had a wonderful weekend, it's a great big 14 degrees here with lots of sunshine. We got to go out this weekend to some thrift stores and guess what we found. An incubator for our home school! We got a great deal on a $380.00 incubator for around $25.00! We tested it and it even appears to be new! You can't hardly beat shopping at thrift stores that's for sure, unless its free. Our goal is to get some eggs from some type of exotic birds which we will probably have to buy online.
